Encogent. We’re a game company. Our team has more than 20 years of experience creating, programming, and writing games for AMC Networks, A&E, History Channel, Nickelodeon, Fox, Warner Bros., General Mills, and many others. We have created outrageously successful games to accompany some of the most popular shows on television and some of the most respected entertainment franchises:

encogent introduces punchy games

Punchy Games Inc. is a start-up company currently developing its first project, Bullarkey®—a trivia challenge for the mind… and fingers.

It merges clever and devious questions with original art and animation into an experience that uses all the functionality of handheld devices to keep the player engaged in ways that mere trivia never could.

Encogent is providing much of the coding and design elements behind Bullarkey, which will be released for iOS, Android, and desktop platforms. Punchy Games is also developing several other original games targeted for release in late 2012 and early 2013.

Dead Reckoning, the game based on the hit AMC television series, has been featured in the Amazon App store and Blackberry Appworld. In the game, players take the role of Shane Walsh; A small-town Kentucky cop.

The object is to save as many charaters as possible and still make it out alive. The game was developed usign Adobe's AIR technology.

encogent welcomes jeff ginsberg

We are pleased to announce the addition of Jeff Ginsberg as our Creative Director. He brings years of television experience to the team.

Jeff is an Emmy-winning producer of Greatest Inventions with Bill Nye (Discovery) and segment producer for Oscars and Golden Globes coverage (E! Entertainment). Producer on Shark Hunters II: East vs. West (Versus).

As a writer, scripted the ABC primetime special The Disney Summer Jam starring Christina Aguilera and Enrique Iglesias; Walt Disney World Inside Out hosted by George Foreman (Disney Channel); and Total Panic (Nickelodeon).

Most recently completed scripting on two episodes of Robocars (Science Channel). Currently developing two animated half-hour series and a one-hour drama.

Encogent has brought Brad Evans on board. Brad will be handling production of projects as well as providing translation of our games into multiple languages.

Brad is an experienced project manager and his organizational skills make him a valuable addition to our team.

Born in Mississippi, he has spent several years abroad. He can switch from a southern accent to perfect French on the fly. He also never sleeps.

Encogent, founded in New York City, has just set up an office in Montreal, Canada, where it is joining many of the biggest names in gaming, who have already established a presence in the city.

The popular web game Breaking Bad: Cost of Doing Business based on the hit series on AMC has been adapted to iOS and Android. Adobe has featured the game in a keynote speech that showcased best uses of the Adobe Flash and AIR technology.

In the game players are Jesse Pinkman, a popular character from the series.
